This ruler has two different sides (shown), one side is engraved “UNUNDERSTOOD” (not understood) and the second is engraved “ISOMORPHICAL” (having the same structure but different elements).

These sculptures are created in limited editions of three. I cut, file, engrave and finish each by hand in 1100 H14 99% pure aluminum. I ink the engravings in black and stamp the piece, the edition number and my initials on the edge.

I make the drawings digitally and ink jet print them in black and white on Hahnemhle Photo Gloss Baryta 320 Acid Free Paper. The image size is at a 1:1 scale to each sculpture and printed on 19” x 13” paper.
